If you’re looking for something fun to do with the family while on holiday in Cape Town, try Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town where you’ll find hundreds of penguins just waiting to be adored.
The entrance fee is R 60 for adults and R 30 for kids. A wooden path way leads you down to the beach where the playful penguins lie around on the beach or go for dips in the ocean. This will keep kids entertained for ages while they explore the pathways.
There are some lovely restaurants around Simon’s Town for a leisurely late lunch. We went to the Black Marlin where we treated ourselves to the most delicious fresh fish, calamari and prawns. The sea breeze mixed with the relaxed atmosphere and laughter from its patrons, made me feel like I was on holiday in my own town.
