A couple of months ago, I was offered a complimentary night stay at the Waterfront Marina Apartments and immediately jumped at the opportunity to spend a night in luxury. After much anticipation throughout the day, I headed over to the Marina to check into Parergon 203. The view of the Waterfront’s ‘Big Wheel’, yacht basin and Cape Grace Hotel were overwhelming and stunning.
After settling in, we walked to the V&A Waterfront, just a few minutes away, to grab some goodies for our planned feast at the apartment. That night, we enjoyed a dinner al fresco on the balcony with the Big Wheel all lit up in the distance. We had some music playing from the iPod docking station and made sure the wine glasses were topped up.
We found that the apartment offered everything we needed for our stay and more. As it was a chilly evening, we put the under-floor heating on which completely warmed up the apartment and created a cosy environment.
Before leaving in the morning, we made a quick breakfast with a warm cup of coffee and enjoyed the sunrise from the balcony one last time. I enjoyed my stay at Parergon 203 enormously and would definitely recommend the Marina apartments to friends, family and guests wanting to explore Cape Town from a central location.
Who wouldn’t want to wake up to this view?!
